In loving memory or our beloved Mom and Gram. Our cherished Mom and Gram peacefully passed away on September 29, 2026. Born to George and Ada Rice, she lived a life filled with love and devotion. After marrying her husband, Norman Heppel, she relocated from Port Trevorton, Pennsylvania to Buffalo, New York, where they built a life together. As a devoted wife of 65 years, her greatest pride and joy was raising her family. She loved to cook, bake, shop QVC, and her iPad. She was the loving and dedicated mother of Todd (Charlene) Heppel, and Janice (George) Schmidt. Her legacy of love continued through her grandsons, Christopher (Colleen) Schmidt, and Ian Schmidt as well as her grandpup, Addie. She was also looking forward with great joy to welcoming her first great-grandchild. She is now reunited with her parents, as well as her brother and three sisters who preceded her in death.
