JAMES, Linda H. (nee Hooper) - Of Williamsville, NY. Entered into rest on December 1, 2025. Beloved wife of 43 years to Arthur T. James; loving daughter of the late Kenneth and Elinor (nee Morgan) Hooper; dear sister of Richard (late Lorraine) Hooper; cherished aunt of Melissa (Ulises), Michele (David), Jennifer (Mike), Deb (Ian), Jack (Marianne), and Keith (Connie); also survived by several great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel) 4614 Main St., Snyder on Sunday from 1-5 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Monday in Mt. Calvary Cemetry (Holy Family Mausoleum) at 11 AM. Please assemble at the gate of Mt. Calvary Cemetery by 10:50 AM.

Linda was a very active member in several womens service organizations throughout her life. She joined the Daughters of the American Revolution, Williams Mills Chapter in 2006 where she served as Chapter Treasurer, Chapter Chaplain and Chapter Recording Secretary over the past 19 years. Linda also was an active member of the Alice Putnam Chapter, 17th Century Colonial Dames organization since 2009 and recently served a 4 year term as Secretary. She was an avid short track and Nascar fan, a member of the Foar Score Fan Club, Niagara Frontier Ostomy Association, and Akron Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling and was loved by everyone - always enjoying others company. Linda will be deeply missed.
