Lloyd M 'Biddy' Elm Sr.

ELM - Lloyd M., Sr. "Biddy" Of West Falls, entered into rest October 3, 2019. Beloved husband of Grace J. (nee MacDonald) Elm and the late Isa Attocknie; devoted father of Daniel (Lisa) Perrott, Paula (Thomas) Hayward-Elm, Sandra (John) Shear, Nadja Printup Jones (Jesse James Jones III), Linda (Raymond) Greenan, Lloyd Elm Jr., and Patricia Elm-O'Connor; cherished grandfather of 25 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; also survived by other family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the family's residence, 7707 Center Rd., West Falls, NY 14170 today, Friday, October 4th from 2 o'clock to 7 AM and thereafter from 3044 Martins Lane, Onondaga Nation, from 1 o'clock to 7 AM, and thereafter a Funeral Service will be held Sunday morning at 10 AM at the longhouse of the Onondaga Nation. Interment Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Dr. Elm got an undergrad at Syracuse University and his Master's and PhD at Penn State in Education Administration. A two-time recipient of the Leo Reano Award, he was also named National Indian Educator of the Year, and received a New York State School Board Association President's Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Nation Indian Education Association. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lloyd's memory to the WNY Alzheimer's Association. Dr. Elm served in the United States Marine Corps.
