(nee Checko) Of Lackawanna, entered into rest November 7, 2014, beloved wife of the late Walter H. George, Jr.; devoted mother of Sadie (Jeff) Hansen, Linda George, Elizabeth (late Mark) Terry, Margaret (Randall) Labedz and Constance Scioli; cherished nana to two granddaughters and seven grandsons; big nana to six great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Louis and Constance Checko; dear sister of Constance (Thomas) Rose, Daniel (Debra) Checko and the late Raymond Sr., Leo (late Norma) and Pete Checko; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Monday from 3-8 PM where the Funeral Service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
