Lorrene May Martino (nee Lands) was born on May 10, 1931 in Buffalo, New York, to her parents, William and Dorothy Lands who were British immigrants. The Lord called Lorrene home on April 27, 2020 after a brief illness. She had one brother, the late Bilton Lands. She worked for several years at and retired from Pitt Petri in Buffalo, NY. In past years, Lorrene served as a lay person and on the Altar Guild at St. Marks Episcopal Church in North Tonawanda. Although, she no longer held those positions, her faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ was strong and unyielding. Her neighbors and friends will remember Lorrene for her compassion and kindness. She prepared countless meals for those in need and was always there to be a trustworthy and unfailing friend. She is survived by her three children, Victoria E. Martino, Rob F. (Carolyn) Martino and Candice L. (the late Charles) Vicario; grandchildren, Alisia (Christian), Laura, Daniel (Samantha), Rachel, Meah, Mallory and the late Joseph, Charles III, and Lindsay. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, Tori, Charles IV, Quinton, Carmella, Ashlee, and Avena along with nieces and nephews. Lorrene will be fondly remembered as a selfless, humble, generous, loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Lorrene had a quiet strength and always thought of others first. Her greatest love was for her family. This beautiful woman and the meaningful life she lived will forever be cherished.
