Lucy A. Chatman

Lucy A Chatman transitioned into glory Monday August 28th 2023. Lucy retired as an NA from the Veterans Administration Hospital of Buffalo after 30 years of dedicated service, where she was widely known as being a fierce advocate in restoring and maintaining the dignity of her patients through her countless acts of selfless care, and was a six-time recipient of the esteemed VA Secretarys Honor Award. Her infectious spirit was known throughout the city where she was an inspiration to many through her love of music, dance, and exuberant good cheer. Evening services will be held at Lombardo Funeral Home of 895 Niagara Falls Boulevard on Tuesday September 5th from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 665 Michigan Avenue in Buffalo on Wednesday September 6th at 11 AM. Online condolences may be made on this page.
