Peacefully entered into rest July 23, 2016. Marcelle (Humphrey) Rodwick (ne Dossogne) was born November 16, 1922 in Verviers, Belgium. Devoted mother of George Humphrey, the late John (Lois) Humphrey; cherished Grandmother of Michelle (Shawn Wheeler) Humphrey, Kristen (Frank Mottern) Humphrey; loving Daughter of the late Nicholas Jean Dossogne and Leontine (ne Plasschaert) Dossogne. Pre-deceased by husband John Rodwick; dear sister of Andr Morrison; fond Aunt of Marlene (Morison) Fabila. Marcelle worked as a switchboard operator during WWII in Lige Belgium. She came to Boston, Massachusetts in 1946 and in the 1950s she moved to Tonawanda NY. Until the age of 82, Marcelle was a realtor for Strovoff and Herman, which later became known as Reality One. She enjoyed painting, and was a member of the Fine Art League in Buffalo NY. She also enjoyed glass work, sewing and knitting. Marcelle taught yoga, belly dancing and made relaxation tapes for cardiac rehabilitation. She had a true passion for all creatures and would nurse injured and abandoned animals back to health and set them free. Marcelle's contagious laugh, wit, and caring heart will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at the Sunset Mausoleum at Elmlawn Cemetery on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11AM.
