Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Gathering in Marcus's Memory at Lombardo Funeral Home 102 Linwood Ave. Buffalo on Saturday July 1st from 10-11am where the Funeral Service will immediately follow...Direct Cremation...No Prior Visitation. Marcus Lee Hall Sr. was born to the late Oscar Lee and Eliza Dee Hall on August 4, 1961 in Buffalo, New York, he was the first son of 11 siblings. He graduated from Burgard High School in 1979 where he excelled and dominated in sports. Wearing the number 88, he was well known as the best wide receiver of his time making All High of WNY. He was an avid fisherman, musician and he learned to play chess at an early age, which became one of his favorite things to do. He mastered this skill as he did with everything else he set out to do. This came as no surprise to those who knew him as he was not just talented but also super intelligent. Marcus was fondly known to most of his family and friends as 'Skester' or 'the Biz!' Marcus went on to father 5 children, Markita, Shantay, Calandrea, Marcus Jr and Princess, and was married to his long time love, Aeriell Hall (Bush). He was employed by the City of Buffalo Parks Dept. before falling ill in 2022. He would go on to give his life to Christ and was bapitized on December 11, 2022 and was proud to serve God. Marcus transitioned from this world on June 26, 2023 and is preceded in death by his father (Oscar Lee Hall), brother (Franklin D. Hall), nephew (Taiwan Harwell) and niece (Gabriella Hall). He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved mother, Eliza Hall, his children Markita, Shantay, Calandrea, Marcus Jr. and Princess; five brothers: Randall of Jacksonville, Florida, Lorne (Julie), Bruce, Noel of Belleville, Michigan, Sevenson (Renee); four sisters: Anita of Los Angeles, California, Tamara, Darcel and Kimberley, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, cousins and friends. As we continue to journey in life without Marcus, we give God the glory knowing that to be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord. 'I assure you that whoever hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and won't come under judgment but has passed from death into life.' John 5:24
