Margaret A. Songin

SONGIN - Margaret A. 92, of Lackawanna, NY, entered into rest October 1, 2019. Margaret was the second youngest of 11 children, born to Louise (nee Ludwika) and Venceslaus Songin, who came to America from Poland in 1908. Margaret was a retired Buffalo Public School teacher with 38 years of service, graduate of Villa Maria Academy, Canisius College, and Buffalo State Teachers' College. She loved her church, music and school children. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Monday (October 7th) in the chapel of Mercy Nursing Facility at OLV, 55 Melroy Ave., Lackawanna, NY, in the shadow of Our Lady of Victory Basilica, at 12 noon. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
