Margaret Mary Walker

WALKER- Margaret Mary (nee Martin), 91, of Tonawanda, entered into rest September 28, 2023. Devoted wife of the late George D. Walker; beloved mother of Michael (Norine) Walker, Gary (Brandie) Walker, Jeffrey D. Walker, Fay M. Walker and Susan (William) Keddie; cherished grandmother of Margaret, Rachel, Jason, Jessica, Elizabeth, Andrew and Emily; fond great-grandmother of Talen and Lucian; loving daughter of the late Thomas F. and Helen (nee Smaczniak) Martin; dear sister of Theresa (Martin) Buck-Coughenour, Eugene Martin, Elizabeth (Michael) Benson and the late Helen Ann Pettingill and Edward (Louise) Martin; also survived by numerous family and friends. Margaret was a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Church. She also was well-known for teaching Bible Studies and recently visited the Holy Land in Israel. In her younger years, Margaret was a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout Den Mother and amateur astrologist. Margaret was an avid collector of books and enjoyed her private library. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. (near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr.) on Wednesday from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, 263 Claremont Ave. Tonawanda on Thursday at 9:30 oclock (please assemble at church). Inurnment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
