The family of Maria, announces with great sorrow, her passing on January 2, 2023. Beloved wife of Jaime Hernandez; devoted mother of Carmelo (Idalia) Torres, Miriam (Robert) Heyer and Iram (Lori) Torres; loving sister of Heriberta Marrero, Juan Rivera, Candida Arvelo, Jorge Luis Colon, Carmen Colon, Manuel Colon, Maria Cruz, Romanita Vargas, Edwin Colon, Betty Martin, Rose Colon-Kitcho, Gary Colon, Jose Colon, Laura Figueroa and Angelo Figueroa; cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Friday (January 6) from 3-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross RC Church, 345 Seventh St., Buffalo on Saturday morning at 10AM. Please assemble at Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marias name to Hospice Foundation.
