Age 91, of Amherst, entered into rest August 12, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph LaPorta; devoted mother of Debbie (Joseph) Rietz and the late Richard Scime and Samuel Scime; cherished grandmother of Salvatore Scime, Anthony Scime, Eric J. (Nicole) Rietz, Dawn (Gabe) Hornelaz, Sean (Anitra) Rietz and Kelly Rietz; adored great-grandmother of 10 including Jordan Hornelaz, Alicia Abud, Emma Rietz, E.J. Rietz, Maggie Rietz, Jojo Rietz, Damien Scime and Samuel Scime; loving daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie (nee Cuccia) Bue; dear sister to the late Rose Peppero and Carol Faraci; also survived by nieces, nephews and fond godmother of Joseph Faraci. Relatives and friends may visit the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (4375 Harris Hill Rd, Williamsville, NY) on September 21st at 10:00AM for a Funeral Mass.
