KNOX, Marian T. (nee Giroux) Born January 24, 1955 in Plattsburgh, NY, entered into rest on February 11, 2024 in Amherst, NY. Preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Theresa (nee Bedard) Giroux, her sister Monica Rose Giroux, her brother Lawrence Isidore Giroux, and her sister-in-law Gail Giroux. Survived by her beloved husband of 44 years Kenneth Knox; her loving children Kurt (Kate) Knox, Tracy (Marc) Tessier, Mark (Christine) Knox, Wendy (Chad Rengert) Knox, Heidi Knox, Eric (Kayleigh) Knox, Sarah (Logan) Vine, and Peter (Nicole) Knox; her siblings Joe (Carol) Giroux, John (Rosemary) Giroux, Kathryn Giroux, Marcel Giroux, Philip (Pamela) Bronder-Giroux, George (Debra) Giroux, Lucy Giroux, and Patricia Gallagher; her grandchildren Dylan, Autumn, Violet, Adam, Evan, Emma, Tristan, and Jack. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and special friends Kathy Healy, Joan Kirchofer, Kathy Huffman, and Rosemarie Messana. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Friday, February 16th from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, February 17th, in St. Leo the Great RC Church, 885 Sweet Home Rd, Amherst, at 9 oclock. Please assemble at church. The Church Service will be livestreamed. Interment White Chapel Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
