Marie L. Lowry

Born December 30, 1949, to Samuel L. and Myrtle Ann Brokenburr in Newport News, VA.  She passed peacefully at home on August 10, 2025, surrounded by family.  Marie worked as a New York State Patrol officer and worked outreach to many in her community.  She had a love of gardening, sewing, movies and reading books.  Predeceased by her brothers Samuel L. Bokenburr and Benjamin Brokenburr and sisters Lula Mae Yarbough and Dorothy Meminger.  She leaves to cherish her memory her son Charles L. Lowry Jr. (Kristin), grandchildren Joshua Clark, Tracy Clark and Devin Lowry, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
