MATIAS, Mariel J. Mari of Kenmore, entered into rest on December 17, 2020. Loving daughter of Juan Matias and Milly Colon. Dear sister of Maria, Marisol, Jonathan, and Jimmy; also survived by her grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins as well as many other relatives and friends; and her fur baby, Rambo; Mari will be remembered for her generosity, her love for animals, music and dance. She was a proud Latina woman and passionate about her Puerto Rican heritage. Maris smile was contagious and could light up a room. "Fly freely Mariposa." Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. on Saturday (December 26) from 3-6 PM, where a service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Sadies Safe Harbor Rescue, Villa Lobos Rescue Center or the Ten Lives Club.
