Of Buffalo, NY entered into rest July 21, 2026. Beloved life partner of 19 years to Andre Funderburg; Loving daughter of John C. and Cindy Restivo; Dear sister of John (Serena) Restivo; Cherished aunt of Daniela and Sophia; Joyfully reunited with her beloved pitbull Sidious; Also survived by many loving cousins, family, and friends. 

Marisa graduated from City Honors High School in Buffalo, NY in 1997. She then graduated from Buffalo State College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 2009, she received her Master of Science in Education from Canisius College. She was a beloved teacher at North Park Community School PS 50 and also at Roosevelt Elementary School PS 65.
