CANCEL, Maritza of Buffalo, entered into rest November 3, 2025. Beloved former life partner of Edward Rivera Sr.; Devoted mother of Tiffany Canna, Edward R. Rivera Jr., Matthew I. Rivera, and stepmom of Brittany Carbone; cherished grandmother of Iyana H. Mercado and Everleigh I. Canna; loving daughter of Carmen and the late Benigno Melendez; dear sister of Maria, Marisol, Maribel, Waleska, and Julio Cancel; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Sunday (November 9th) from 1-4 PM. A Visitation will also take place in Holy Cross Church, 345 7th Street, Buffalo on Monday morning from 10-11, where a Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow.  Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
