Mark R. Cifelli

Mark Cifelli, age 55, succumbed to his heroic thirteen-year battle with cancer, early morning of Sunday, January 22nd, 2023, in the comfort of his home, and in the company of his wife. He was born on March 6th, 1967, in Buffalo. He was a class of 85 graduate of Sweet Home High School and served proudly in active duty as a US Marine from 85 to 89, a title he will hold until the end of time. Mark was son to the angelic, late Judy Wilcott and stepson to Dennis Wilcott; Son to the late Antonio Cifelli Sr; loving husband to Renee Cifelli; stepfather to Joseph Karl; brother to Tony Cifelli Jr. and Cindy O Connor; Uncle to many nieces and nephews; beloved by family across the world and cherished by countless friends. He battled to survive as the warrior he was and stood up to the adversity of cancer head on. His humor was contagious and gave life to himself and everyone he interacted with. Those whose lives have been touched by our Mark are welcome to join us at LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, 885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, NY, on Monday, January 30th from 2-4pm or 6-8pm to grieve, support, and remember. We will again gather at 9am at Lombardo on Tuesday 31st, with funeral to follow at St Judes Church in North Tonawanda at 10am, to say farewell to our Superman. Flowers are graciously declined, donations to be made to Hospice House of Niagara County.
