Of Lackawanna, entered into rest February 17, 2017, beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Whitehead) Welsh; devoted father of Darlene (James) Reichert and Mark Welsh; cherished grandfather of Melony (Shane) Smith, Justin (Julie) Amadori and Jillian (Joseph) Dagastino; great-grandfather of seven; loving son of the late Emil and Olema; dear friend of Olga Melendez; fond brother of William (Joanie) Welsh, Patrick (Belle) Welsh, Georgianne (Paul) Peluso and the late Thomas Welsh, Daniel (Sophie) Welsh and Mimi (late Tony) Selvaggio; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Monday from 4-6 PM. Funeral Service will immediately follow. Mr. Welsh was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
