Barone, Mary Christine "Chris" (nee Kistner) Sunrise: 2/6/1946 Sunset: 4/18/2024 Of Tonawanda, entered into rest April 18, 2024. Beloved wife of Rosario D. Barone, proud mother of Kathryn S (Michael Berns) Geissler Berns and Nicole A. Barone; bonus parent to Rosario N. (Linda) Barone and Rosanne (late Mark) Sadri; cherished grandmother of three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; loving daughter of Homer C. and Mary M. (nee Buckley) Kistner; dearest sister of Mary Martha "Marcy" Lombardo, John F. "Jeff" (Nicole) Kistner and the late James M. (late Patricia), Katheryn S. and Peter B. Kistner; also survived by many wonderful nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. (near Sheridan/Eggert). Amherst, on Thursday from 3:00 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Christophers Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd, Tonawanda on Friday morning at 9:30 oclock (please assemble at church). Interment Holy Sepluchre Cemetery. Chris was a longtime platelet doner and 35 plus gallon doner to the Red Cross, a former member of the paralegal association, and worked for many attorneys who became supreme court and family court judges. Please perform a random act of kindness for someone less fortunate in her honor. In lieu of flowers please donate blood to the American red cross in her memory. Remember that there will be a day when grief subsides and thoughts of me bring a smile to your lips rather than a tear to your eye.
