MAY - Mary Ellen (nee Ryan) Of South Buffalo, entered into rest on August 28, 2021. Beloved wife of 72 years to Harold J. May; devoted mother of Harold J. (Mary) May, Jr., Mary Ellen (John) Ruggiero, late Robert J. May, Janet M. (John) Daly and Thomas May; adored grandmother of Kim, late Kelly, Joseph (Robin) May, Anthony (Gretchen) Ruggiero, Alisa (Jeffery) Raab, Donna (Ron) Spielvogel, Courtney and Jessie Daly, Jennifer, Duane and Joshua May; adored great-grandmother of 12; loving daughter of the late Harry F. and Mary E. Ryan; dear sister of the late Harry (Shirley) Ryan; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near lake Ave., on Thursday from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site), 65 Ridgewood Rd., Buffalo, on Friday morning at 9:30 oclock (please assemble at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
