ELWELL - Mary M. (nee Mattimore) Of Tonawanda, NY. Entered onto rest May 15, 2018, at the age of 89. Born February 21, 1929 in Buffalo, beloved wife of the late Gordon H. Elwell; loving mother of Gordon (Jane) Elwell, Marie (Miles) Cary, Rozanne (Todd) Hakala, Henry (Debbie) Elwell, Elaine (John) Thiery, Jennifer (John) Comeau, Julia O'Hara, and Robert (Jill) Elwell; adored grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McMahon) Mattimore; devoted sister to Richard and Henry Mattimore and the late Joseph and Daniel Mattimore; survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst on Thursday 2-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 am at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda. Please assemble at the church. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
