Mary L. Gillespie

Mary Gillespie passed away peacefully from chronic health issues on Thursday, March 12, 2020. She was 90 years old, born on March 5, 1930 in Geneva, NY to George & Thelma Hardy. Mary graduated from SUNY Buffalo State College and taught in the Buffalo School district for many years. She married William Gillespie and from this union were born two beautiful daughters. Mary was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses on April 11, 1951, and assisted many others in their spiritual journey to live a life of bible truth. She was passionate about gardening, classic movies, Italian food and shopping. Mary is survived by her daughters Priscilla (Julian) Smith and Rachel Gillespie. Also her sister Margaret Hardy of Geneva, NY. She is predeceased by her parents George and Thelma Hardy and eight siblings: Leona, William, George, Charles, Robert, June, Donald and Trudy .
