Of Kenmore, NY, entered into rest on May 17, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Harry Shedd; former wife of the late Robert Scheuer; devoted mother of Donna (Mark) Turri, the late Michael Scheuer, and the late Robert (Mary) Scheuer; cherished grandmother of Brett (Denise) Scheuer, Romi (Michael) Vazquez, Justin Turri, Jennifer Gordon, Talia (David) Root, and Rhea (Max) McCulloch; adored grandmother of many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Ruth and Joseph Braun; dear sister of the late William Braun; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Mary Lou lived a majority of her life in the Buffalo area. After High School, Mary Lou held various administrative and bookkeeping positions. She was a dedicated employee and exceeded the positions she held. Her longest employment was at Roger Lewis Men's Shop in Kenmore. Harry and Mary Lou were proprietors of "The Shedd House," in Riverside, where they were known for their delicious fish fry dinners. In her later years, she enjoyed her time in Florida. She also spent much time in Arizona and Lewiston, NY, with her adoring companion the late James Wilson. She treasured her friendships and her time with her family most of all. She enjoyed hosting family and friend dinners, and her summers spent at Thunder Bay in Ontario, Canada. Mary Lou will be deeply missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Newman Center at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or Hospice Buffalo.
