DAVIS-SNELL, Mary J. of Buffalo, entered into rest January 10, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Shirley L. Davis; devoted mother of Gigi M. Davis and the late Howard D. Stancil; cherished grandmother of Albert D. Richardson and Imani J. Molson; adored great-grandmother of Damian and the late Sanaa Richardson; loving daughter of the late Howard and Ruth Snell; dear sister of the late Margaret and Howard Snell Jr.; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit True Bethel Baptist Church, 907 E Ferry St., Buffalo on Saturday (January 27th) from 10-11 AM, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mary was the beloved talk show host of the Mary Davis Show. She was the first African American woman to have a radio and television production in Buffalo, where she was a political activist, community leader, and friend to many.
