Mary Sue Gressley of Amherst, NY entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the age of 80 years following a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; devoted mother to Jared (Aimee), Justin (Cindi) and Joel (Rebecca); beloved grandmother to Emma, Isabella, Owen and Mason; loving daughter of the late Milton and Margaret (Seaman); also survived by many friends that she considered family. Mary Sue most recently served as the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions at D'Youville University prior to her retirement in 2020, enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid lover of cats. Relatives and friends are invited to visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel) 4614 Main St., Snyder, NY 14226 (near Eggert Rd.) on Friday, July 31st from 3:00-7:00PM, where a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 1st at 10 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Sue's honor can be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or Ten Lives Club of Erie County.
