Mary Jane (Parson) Thomas transitioned on February 7, 2025 and was welcomed into Heaven by her father, Stanton Oliver Parson and her mother, Mary Jane Parson Cummings.


Mary was the proud baby sister of Louise Miller (Monroe), Stanton Parson, Jr (Sheila), and Gladys Slaughter (Raymond). She was married to Judson Thomas and was the devoted mother of Tanya Moore (Rudolph), Pamela Torres (Bobby), Nichole Willis (Wayne), and Nicholas Hall; cherished grandmother of Cedric Davis, Dr. Heather Moore Roberson (Jackie), Nicholas E. Hall (Janae), Demetrice Hall, Shane Woodward, Autumn Willis, and Mackenzie Hall; adored aunt of a host of nieces including Valerie (Will), Donna, Darnetta, Carmella, Tamara, and Courtnee, nephews including Stanley. She is also survived by other family and friends.


A visitation hour and celebration of life will take place on Monday, February 17, 2025 beginning at 11am at Delaware Avenue Baptist Church – 965 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209 – Streamed online at: https://dabc.org/ Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be made on this page.
