BOLING - Mechele Of Buffalo, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 6, 2020. Born September 4, 1945 in Niagara Falls, New York. Mechele is the daughter of the late Floyd and Zorie Bell (Mosley) Boling. Mechele was commonly known to colleagues, family and friends to go by the name of MeMe. Mechele was a graduate of the Lillian Dora School of Beauty and Culture and a local Barbers School in the late 1960s. Mechele was the devoted and loving mother of: Sergeant Major Shareef Ibn Ali and Chelston Edward Martin; cherished grandmother of Reverend Shareef Ibn Ali II (Felicia), Aliya Nicole Ali-Mathis, Mariah Martin, Ahnalesia and Chelsea Martin and Marquis Hunt; great grandmother of Shareef Ibn Ali III, Sia Ali and Saj Ali. Also left to cherish her memory are: one brother; Floyd Boling Jr. (Cassie) of Queens, NY, nine sisters; Leona (Joel Sr,) lackburn, Tamara May, Heather Tripp, Zorie and Amber Boling, Crystal (Robert Sr.) Barton, of Getzville, NY, Ava Rose of Niagara Falls, NY, Desiree (Anthony) Watson of Davie, Florida and Celeste (Gary) Jackson of Bronx, NY. She is also survived by two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandson; Ameer Ibn Ali II, parents: Floyd Sr. and Zorie (Mosley) Boling; sisters: Rosalind Boling and Bonnie Leverette, brothers: Dane, Milton and Sterling Boling and one nephew, Sterling May. Prior to Retirement, Mechele worked for decades as a Dispatcher for Broadway Taxi Company, at Harmac Medical Products Inc. and as a Teacher Aide for the Buffalo Public School District. A Memorial in Mecheles honor will be held at a later date. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME.
