GARDNER - Michael D. Of West Seneca, entered into rest on October 19, 2022. Loving son of Robert and the late Arlene Gardner; dear father of Beth Ann Gardner; cherished grandfather of Michael Bird, Madison Milliman and Gianna Milliman; devoted brother of Mark (Debbie) Gardner and Shelly (Bob) Fitzgerald; loving uncle of Mark, Todd, Gabrielle, Aleaya and Brodie. Michael graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1977 and worked as a chef until 1983, when he was paralyzed from his neck down in a tragic accident. He lived 39 years as an inspiration to everyone with his smile and humor. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Saturday (October 22nd) at 10:30 oclock.
