Michael J. Mombrea

MOMBREA - Michael J. Of Buffalo, entered into rest November 3, 2021, at age 100. Beloved husband of the late Fay (nee Tortora) Mombrea; devoted father of Joseph (Christine) Mombrea, Mary (Gary) Myers, Michael (Bonny) Mombrea, Judy Mombrea, John Mombrea and the late Michael Mombrea; cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; loving son of the late Joseph and Frances Mombrea; dear brother of Joseph (late Jean) Mombrea and the late Daniel (late Winifred) Mombrea and Frances (late Victor) Silveri; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr., on Friday (Nov 5), from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, 263 Claremont Ave., Tonawanda, on Saturday morning at 11 oclock. (Please assemble at church.) Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Mr. Mombrea was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Air Force. If desired, donations may be made in Michaels name to St. Lukes Mission of Mercy.
