Of Orchard Park, entered into rest December 23, 2019. Beloved husband of Linda M. (nee Kern) Coggins; devoted father of Debra (late Steve) Frink, Colleen (William) Czerwiec, Donnamarie (Randy) Steiner, and Michael E. Coggins; cherished grandfather of Mary Jo (David) Young, Rebecca (Benjamin) Suba, Brandee (Matthew) Martin, Nickolas Coggins, and Shea Steiner; great-grandfather of seven and one great-great-grandchild; loving son of the late Basil and Sally Coggins; dear brother of Norbert (Joan) Coggins, Basil (late Diane) Coggins, and the late Timothy Coggins and David Coggins; also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Saturday and Sunday from 2-6 PM, where prayers will be said Monday morning at 9 oclock, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church at 10 oclock. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Hamburg, NY. Mr. Coggins was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a Federal Technician for the NY Army National Guard, Master Sergeant (E8) 221 Engineer Group NYARNG for 38 years. Michael was a member of 174th Vets Association, 721 American Legion Post, and belonged to the OLSH Seniors.
