Michael N. Dipirro, Pharm.D

DiPirro, Dr. Michael N., 76, of Tonawanda, entered into rest on July 4, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Theresa J. (nee LaForte) DiPirro; devoted stepfather of David (Angela) Christopher, Matthew (Laurie) Christopher and Catherine (Mark) Colicchia; cherished grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Michael and Josephine M. (nee Diagostino) DiPirro; cherished brother of Patricia (Harold) Hazen and adored uncle of Kimberly Hazen and Rebecca (Malcolm) Allen. He is also survived by many friends. Michael graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Doctorate in Pharmacology in 1975, after earning his Bachelors degree at the University at Buffalo. Michael was an advocate for people with mental health disabilities in WNY in his position with the Office of Mental Health. He was also a pharmacist and patient advocate at Buffalo Psychiatric Center. He was also very active with Recovery, Incorporated, which was where he met his wife, Terry. In his spare time, he was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed basketball. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd (near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr.) on Thursday, July 11 from 5-8pm and a funeral service will immediately follow at 8pm. Interment will be 10am on Friday, July 12 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery (please assemble at cemetery).
