Michel R. 'Mike' Brousse Jr.

Entered into rest, on February 17, 2023, in Tonawanda, NY. Son of the late Michel Brousse Sr. and Sharon (Winney); beloved husband of Susan (Mikos); father of Alexandra 'Ali' (German), Adam (Christie) and Colin Brousse; grandfather of Benjamin Harold and Dominic Michael Brousse; grandfather by heart to Honoree McCarthy; brother of Daniel Brousse, Valerie (Mark) Plotner, Darlene (Mark) Daigler and his late brother, Harold Brousse; survived by several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces, great- nephews and many cousins. Mike graduated from Niagara County Community College in 1985 and devoted his career as a Registered Nurse by caring for the sick and injured. He spent the first half of his RN career at DeGraff Hospital. He devoted the second half of his career to caring for cancer patients at Roswell Park Cancer Hospital, where he retired from in August 2022. Mike was a Navy Veteran and spent time at sea on the USS Forrestal from 1976 to1980. He was an avid fisher and hunter. Mike was also a long-time member on National Hose Fire Company #1. He loved spending time with his grandchildren most of all.
