Myra E. Pellegrino) Dunn

Myra E. Dunn November 29, 1946 - October 15, 2024 of Orchard Park, NY, and West Palm Beach, FL, entered into rest October 15, 2024. She was a cherished wife to James T. Dunn and a devoted mother to Kathryn Dunn, James M. Dunn, Michelle (Rory) Host, and Joseph (Jennifer) Dunn. Myra was also a beloved grandmother to Ashley, Kevin, Hank, James II, Alex, Cory, Zachary, Dakota, Joseph, and Donovan, and a treasured great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren. She was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Isabelle Pellegrino. Myra devoted her life to service; she co-founded Dunn Tire and was an executive officer for over twenty years. She was an active member of the Executive Women's Club of Buffalo. Myra was an avid horse owner and actively involved in horse racing across New York State. A vibrant mother and grandmother, she was the life at any gathering; Myra enjoyed Coors Light, traveling the world, playing card games, watching her favorite television shows, bowling, and cheering on the NY Yankees. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Myra had a remarkable ability to make her grandchildren and great-grandchildren feel special and loved. Her home was a beacon of love and laughter, filled with the delicious aroma of her famous sauce and pancakes. Even now, her spirit endures, a reminder of how we should live life to its fullest. Myra's story is one of inspiration, a testament to the incredible impact one person can have on the world around them. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), located at 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Sunday (October 20) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernadette Church, 5930 S. Abbott Rd., Orchard Park, on Monday at 9 AM. Attendees are asked to assemble at the church.
