Neil F. Rogers

Of Lackawanna, entered into rest June 2, 2023. Loving father of Nicole (Mike Karalunas), Blair and Brady Rogers; cherished grandfather of Liam Karalunas; devoted brother of Colleen, Michael (Aggie), Lynn M. (Kenny) Dziak, Thomas, David (Debbie), Kevin (Antonina) and the late Madonna Rogers and infant brother & sister; son of the late Patricia Franey Rogers and Neil F. Rogers; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Neil was a retired Capt. of the Lackawanna Fire Dept. and a retired RN with the Catholic Health Care System, having worked at Our Lady of Victory Hospital and Mercy Hospital. He was also a member of the Patriots Club, the Irish Firemans Association and a life-long Baltimore Orioles fan. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Wednesday (June 7) from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd. (at the corner of S. Park Ave.) on Thursday morning at 10:30AM. Please assemble at Church.
