Nichelene F. Baker

Of Hamburg, entered into rest on January 14, 2024. Devoted mother of Raymond (Susan) Baker, Katelin and Nicholas Baker, Tony (Lisa) Hopper, and Ricky Hopper; cherished grandmother of Dakota Baker; dear sister of Daniel (Kathleen) Sterlace, Susan (Richard) Bray, Dawn Meyer, Frances and Christopher Sterlace; loving daughter of the late Nicholas and Isabelle "Sis" Sterlace; also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Nichelene served the state of New York for almost 40 years in her occupation of helping people with developmental disabilities. She was also a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 409. She dedicated her time to many other community organizations. No prior services. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Contributions in Nichelenes honor may be made to the American Legion Post 409.
