Nicholas E. "Nick" Colose

COLOSE - Nicholas E. "Nick'Of Amherst, born in Clearfield, PA, entered into rest, October 31, 2016, beloved husband of 66 years to Madeline "Mena' (nee Accordino) Colose; devoted father of Nicholas, Richard, Linda and Michael; cherished grandfather of Christina; loving son of the late Paul and Caroline Colose; dear brother of Joanne (Edmond) George and Paul (Paula) Colose; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Bvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Saturday from 4 - 8 PM, where services will immediately follow. Nicholas was an avid Bills and Penn State Football fan, loved listening to Big Band music and enjoyed watching Monday night football at Tully's. Mr. Colose was an Army veteran of WWII in the 106th Infantry Division and a retired employee of General Motors after 34 years of service. The family would like to thank Hospice and Elderwood of Amherst for their care of Nicholas over the past few weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice in Mr. Colose's name.
