FISCHER, Nora A. (nee Gallagher) of Cheektowaga, entered into rest April 22, 2026. Beloved wife of David C. Fischer; devoted mother of Joseph (Nicole), James (Susan), and John Fischer; cherished grandmother of Nolan, Jack, and Colton; loving daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Gallagher; dear sister of the late Joseph P. Gallagher; also survived by family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Monday (April 27th) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Katherine Drexel Church, 118 Schiller St., Buffalo on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Inurnment St. Matthew’s Cemetery. Nora retired after 27 years with the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo as an Art Teacher. Flowers gratefully declined.
