Octavia L. Ware

Octavia Ware, 97, passed away peacefully on May 12th, 2023, with her son at her side. Octavia was born on March 30th, 1926 to the late Dominic and Malia Musilli. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ware Senior, and loving mother of Dr. Charles Ware, Joseph Ware Junior, Judith (Sanford) Teitelman, and Linda Amelino. In her younger years she was a professional vocalist with many orchestras around the Buffalo area where she met her future husband. Octavia spent many years as a devoted mother and homemaker before going on to work as a housekeeper and later, helping to raise money for the Ken-Ton Muscular Sclerosis Society. Her passion for giving back to her community was evident in her tireless dedication to supporting those in need. Octavia is survived by her children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
