Olga Anderson was born on June 30, 1937, to the late David and Marie Anderson in Richmond Virginia. She professed faith in the Lord at an early age. Olga departed this life on January 5, 2024. Olga was educated in the Richmond school system where she was a cheerleader. She was the 15th child out of 16. Olga came to Buffalo in 1958 and worked as a crane operator and manager at Republic Steel while raising her daughter Joyce. She met and married Willie Anderson and from that union they had four children, Raymond, Brenda, Willie, and Margaret. Later in life she was blessed to have another daughter, Jacinta. Olga was also a CNA and worked for the Holiday Inn until she retired. She was a member of Second Temple Baptist Church and raised all six of her kids in the church. Olga loved going to Bingo and the casino with family and friends She also loved scratch offs and doing crossword puzzles. Olga and her friends had a travel club, and she had the opportunity to travel out of the country several times. Olga was a very humble woman and loved life. She loved her family and was the legal guardian of her eldest grandchild Marshell Anderson and would often babysit her grandkids. She was a true pioneer and will truly be missed. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Lewis Anderson of Richmond, VA, her children Joyce (Melvin) McNair, Raymond Anderson, Brenda Anderson, Willie Anderson, Margaret Ruffin, and Jacinta Daniels, 12 grandkids, 27 great grandkids, 11 great great grandkids, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents David and Marie Anderson, and 14 of her siblings. Relatives and friends may visit the Elim Christian Fellowship, 70 Chalmers Ave, Buffalo, NY 14214, on Wednesday January 17th from 10:00AM - 11:00AM, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 o'clock.
