Ottavio E. Ghersa

GHERSA - Ottavio E. Of Amherst, passed peacefully on June 17, 2018, supported by family and friends, to anxiously join his beloved wife Maria in eternity. Ottavio left his home in Italy to experience worldy adventures through Europe, South East Asia and Australia as a Merchant Marine. Buffalo would be the last stop, where Ottavio and Maria would immigrate to embrace the opportunities of America and call home for the majority of their years. Retirement would find them traveling often with regular stops in Italy to share laughter with family and friends. Private services were held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery All Souls Mausoleum.
