Patrice A. O'Neill

Patrice O’Neill formerly of South Buffalo, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025 at the age of 82. Pat was a beloved wife, mother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her first husband Morris Brophy and her second husband Joseph Ruhland. She is survived by her children Margie (Mike) Maschmeier, Jim (Cindy) Brophy, and Mary Pat Brophy. Cherished grandmother of Michael Maschmeier, Jim Brophy, Mike Rogalski, and two great grandsons. Dear sister of the late Richard (late Dorothy) Courtney and James (former wife Sue Hallman) O’Neill. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pat’s life was full of trips to California and travel across the United States with loved ones. She was blessed with friendships from OLV Catholic Daughters of America and her time working at Mercy hospital, the Erie County Holding Center, and the Buffalo VA as an LPN for over 40 years. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and beautiful heart. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Friday (May 30 ) from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Saturday (May 31 ) at 9:00 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Response to Love Center located at 30 Kosciuszko Street, Buffalo, NY 14212.
