Patrick G. Macdiarmid

MacDIARMID, Patrick G. Entered into rest July 29, 2023 after a brief illness. Son of the late Andrew and Lena (nee Genga) MacDiarmid. He was married just shy of 60 years to his beloved wife Rita (nee Attea) MacDiarmid; devoted father of Elizabeth (Rudy) Schaefer, Laura (David) Oldread, and Patrick (Erin) MacDiarmid; grandfather of 7, great-grandfather of 6, and uncle to many; dear brother of Jack (Marian) and Kathleen (Warren) Plant. Patrick attended ECC College and retired from National Fuel after 42 years of employment. He was a member of the Youngstown Yacht Club and also enjoyed spending time at his beach home in Crystal beach with his children and grandchildren. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning in St. John Maron Church, 2040 Wehrle Dr. Williamsville at 10 o'clock. Please assemble at church. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
