Of Blasdell, entered into rest May 14, 2019; beloved husband of the late Mary Samson Schmidt and Irene "Reenie" Wesolowski Schmidt; wonderful father of Debra (Richard) Pytlak, Ronald (Jahna) Samson, Steven, Karen (Doug) Smith and Scott (Melodee) Samson; proud Papa of Marissa (Jason) Surdyke, Danielle Samson (Andy LiPuma), Jordan Pytlak, Skyler and Spencer Samson; loving son of the late Francis and Mary Schmidt; dear brother of the late John, George (Marge), late Marilyn (John) Enser and Nancy (Jack) Eichorn. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Avenue, on Sunday from 1-4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Mother of Good Council, 3688 South Park Ave., Blasdell, on Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock (please assemble at church). Paul was proud to be in the US Marine Corps.
