Peter P. Macarthur

MacARTHUR - Peter P. Lifelong resident of Buffalo, entered into rest August 24, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Kessler) MacArthur; devoted father of Glenn (Erlinda) MacArthur; cherished grandfather of MaryJane and Ian; adored great-grandfather of Shayna and Xavier; dear brother of the late Dexter and Gordon MacArthur. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., Friday (Aug 27) from 3-7 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning at 11 oclock. Peter graduated from Bennett High School then enlisted in the US Navy, during the Korean War. He also attended the University of Buffalo under the GI Bill. He turned his interests in cars and mechanics into a career and became co-owner of the auto dealership Checkpoint Foreign Cars. If desired, donations may be made in Peters name to the American Cancer Society.
