STANEK - Peter T. Of Orchard Park entered into rest November 22, 2022 after a courageous battle with chronic Leukemia. Beloved husband of Janis L. (nee Stuart) Stanek; devoted father of Travis (Cheryl) and Jarett (Erin) Stanek; cherished grandfather of Jacob, Nicholas, Shannon, Cody, and Sarah Stanek; loving son of the late Leo "Sam" and Ceceil Stanek; dear brother of the late Catherine (John) Wlodarczyk; also survived by family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Tuesday (November 29) from 3-7 PM, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow. Peter was an avid hunter and fisherman. Some of his favorite times were spent on his boat or at his hunting cabin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peters honor to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute or to your local Volunteer Fire Company.
