Petrina T. "Pat" Bona

November 22, 1924-January 8, 2026

BONA, Petrina T. “Pat” (nee Gruttadauria) of Lackawanna, entered into rest January 8, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Michael J. Bona; dear mother of Gary (Lorraine) Bona, Diane Bona, and Patricia Bona. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Frank (Teresa) Gruttadauria and sister-in-law Linda Gruttadauria. She is predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Antoinette Gruttadauria and siblings Rose (Salvatore) Mendola, Salvatore (Rose) Gruttadauria, Claudia (Dominic) Guercio, Michaelangelo Gruttadauria, and Carmelo Gruttadauria. Her memory will be cherished by 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Friday (January 16th) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Saturday morning at 10:30 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s honor may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital or Hospice Care Buffalo.
