RIVERA, Rafael Sr. of Buffalo, entered into rest on October 14, 2021. Beloved husband of 57 years to Milagros Rivera; devoted father of Rafael (Denise) Rivera Jr., Mildred (Heriberto) Torres, Edward Rivera Sr., Richard R. (Kimberly) Rivera Sr., and Elizabeth (Oscar) Soler; cherished grandfather to 26 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Eugenia Matos Alvaladejo and the late Juan Rivera Robles; survived by his sister Iluminada Ponce and many other family members and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Road, Orchard Park (near Lake Ave.) on Monday, October 18th from 2-8PM and also in Holy Cross RC Church 345 7th St, Buffalo, NY 14201 Tuesday, October 19th from 9:30-10:30 AM, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 10:30 o'clock.
