MENDEZ - Ramon "Mony" Of Lackawanna, entered into rest March 2, 2017. Beloved husband of Patricia A. (nee Rogers) Mendez; devoted father of Robert (Barbara), Brian (Donna), Thomas (Pam), Paul (Laurel), Peter (Terry) and Kerri (John) Miller; cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Moses and Bessie Mendez; dear brother of Moses (Barbara) Mendez Jr., Olivia (Henry) Padilla and George (Kathy) Mendez; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Saturday and Sunday from 3-7 PM where prayers will be said at 9 o'clock Monday morning and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church at 10 o'clock.
