Ray N Staff

STAFF - Ray N. Of Snyder, age 88, entered into rest January 29, 2021. Beloved husband of CatherineStaff (nee Bauman); devoted father ofRaymond (Lisa) Staff,Mary (Glenn) Woolingham and MargaretStaff; adored grandfather of Laura and Kate Staff, Benjamin, Jake, Claire and Emily Woolingham; loving son of the late Ray and Margaret Staff; also survived by many relatives and friends. Ray served in the US Army as a Battalion Mail Clerk while stationed in Germany from 1953-1955. He worked at Allstate Insurance as a Claims Analyst for 25 years, before retiring in 1991. In retirement, he enjoyed golfing and spending time in Myrtle Beach with friends. Ray spent all his summers at his family cottage on the Niagara River, where he loved boating and fishing. He was very devoted to his family and enjoyed attending his grandchildrens school and sporting events. Ray was married for 59 years to his loving wife, Catherine, who cared for him at his lifelong home until he passed. No prior visitation. Arrangements by the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel).
